Frequent advice to use "flesh coloured" disposable gloves, which I've never seen in my life. Advice to fill hollow-point bullets with "liquid poison", without specifying what kind of poison LIQUID POISON would be I thought my primary reaction would be morbid fascination, but this book is funny as all hell! On the surface it's supposed to be a guide written by a hitmen, for other potential hitmen, but so many of the things in this book are badly written, over the top and absurd, and fall into the category of shitthatdidnthappen.txt that I couldn't help giggling constantly when I was reading it.

I disagree with the publisher's morals, but think they should not have been held responsible. After seeing this book mentioned in an episode of the Radiotopia podcast Criminal, and hearing that it was available online, I decided to check it out. So, in short, I am against the use of the book, but not of people owning it. Given the other types of books they published, this was probably normal, but morally it was wrong. Should a martial arts studio be held responsible if one of it's students used the techniques s/he learned there, for a violent crime that leads to death?Īnd again with the publisher, They weren't responsible for the actions of those 2 men, but I do believe that they were wrong to allow this book to be published. I think that the publisher had every right to publish it and should not have been held responsible for the actions of the murderers. But if they simply have it to read and not act on, then let them have it.Īs far as the publisher is concerned. If they own, read, and use the techniques in this book, then yes, they should be in jail. I'm not saying I think this is a good book, but to say that anyone who owns it should be in jail, is wrong.

Though the purposes are very different, the techniques in both the book and a "Self-defense" studio can be used to kill a person. A Martial Arts studio teaches techniques that can kill people. Think of this book as any other sort of instructional device.įor example, this book instructs on death and such. That may be your opinion, but the actions of the 2 men who planned and carried out the murders, are their own.

The person said "Anyone that owns this book should be in jail." To the person that said "Anyone who owns it.
